The Forum
One of the main distinctions of house church vs. institutional church is the use of dialogue
rather than lecture and sermon. Yes, this is a teaching ministry--but often it is the teacher who learns
the most! There simply has to be a way for visitors to these web pages to respond, to share, to disagree,
to point out error, and so on. In 1 Cor. 14:26, Paul insists that worship cannot begin until all
participate in their own way. James Wm. McClendon calls this "the Rule of Paul."
Don't be silent.
